This hands-on discussion will focus on the process evident in handspun yarn and handwoven fabric. In other words, what goes through the judges head as your piece is being judged. Whether you enter a piece in competition or are intrigued by the mystery of heirloom fabrics, this presentation should offer insights into how to see what is before you in the cloth.
We meet in their Guild Hall which is a small building in front of the main church. The location is at 3154 Woodside Road, Woodside.
The church is easy to find. Just take the Woodside exit off of 280, and head into the town of Woodside. Drive up Woodside Road, past the intersection of Canada and Woodside, past Roberts market, past Bucks, past the Woodside library, and the church is on the right.
Reminders for the New Meeting Location and Parking:
Park at the Woodside Elementary School across the street.
Overflow parking for large crowd events is located at Woodside Town Hall.
It will be DARK - bring a flashlight for easier navigation to and from your car!
